Dear students and stakeholders warm greetings! I welcome you all as the principal of this prestigious and renowned college ‘Bapu Postgraduate College, Pipiganj. This college, a premier educational renowned Institution of eastern Uttar Pradesh was established in 1971 by a great soul and philanthropic personality late Sri Shaffi –ul –Hussan (Hunne Babu) and C.B Srivastava sir to impart higher education in under development and rural area, as students had to migrate to bigger cities for higher education. The college was started under the ages of the registered society. 'The Pipiganj educational society' and was granted affiliation to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. Starting its journey from undergraduate of college in only four subjects i.e. sociology, history, political science, and Hindi, the college has evolved to the present postgraduate college in the five subjects sociology, geography, Hindi, home science and M.com and U.G 11 Subject. The college has transformed from a small undergraduate college to a leading postgraduate college. Students from all neighbouring cities like Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, and Siddharth nagar study here in respective programs.

The college has a beautiful and well-structured infrastructure representative including spacious and ventilated classrooms, laboratory computer labs rich library reading room and facility a 7.43 acre playground and a gymnasium. The faculty members of the college too are well-qualified and devoted. Our non-teaching staff is also efficient and competent. I am blessed to serve this magnificent Institution as principal. The management committee of the college is very progressive and supportive to me for my future endeavours Become of their consistent encouragement and support two new postgraduate programs in M.A. home science and M.com started in 2022.

I have a strong belief that many new courses like B.sc and B.Ed. will be started in near future. New education policy (N.E.P) 2020 emphasizes on skill learning, vocational learning and co-curricular courses our college already provide its student, with knowledge, social skills, vocational skills, and co-curricular skills for their holistic personality development as envisaged in NEP 2020. Faculty members are available to students beyond classrooms how too in online mode.

Their abilities and trails are shaped and sharpened in different cultural, literary, social and play activities. Students are honoured not only for going top ranks in a university exam but are also rewarded for their inner talents manifested in other activities.
