I extend warm wishes to students and all well-wishers of our college Bapu Postgraduate College Pipiganj Gorakhpur. This college was established in 1971 to provide higher education to rural and deprived areas of students to and to make them able to contribute to national development as good citizens. College was started as an undergraduate Art college with only four subjects. Now it has evolved into a leading postgraduate college in Arts and Commerce streams. The progress journey of college has been amazing and many new programs like B.sc and B.Ed. are in a loop. The college is very popular among students who want quality education and total personality development. Students are groomed here not only in academic pursuits but in many co-curricular activities too. National service schemes, sports, writing, and cultural activities are conducted regularly for the all-around development of the students. College is fortunate to have well-qualified and devoted faculty members and non-teaching staff too.

The new education policy (NEP) 2020 has initiated significant changes in higher education. Like multiple entry and exit systems, semester systems, the introduction of vocational courses and flexibility in choosing the courses.

All the new change has been incorporated into the college curriculum, admission proceeding, registration and examination. I hope that this new education policy will facilitate to the achievement of the global level of the education system. The management committee is always a pillar of strength behind the college's development.

I wish the principal, faculty members, non-teaching staff and students all success in their endeavours. It is just because of your efforts and devotion the college has achieved this feat.
